# Hampton Inn Historic Center
# Restoration and project management for a heritage building in Mexico City.
Bovis led the Project Management during the preconstruction and construction phases of the Hampton Inn & Suites Mexico City Historic Center.
This project required the comprehensive renovation of a highly valuable heritage building, protected by Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) and the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA).
This ensured the preservation of original features and the harmonious integration of new structures that respect the building’s colonial character.
# Key achievements and scope of work:
Addition of two new floors while preserving the original colonial style.
Comprehensive construction management, including cost, schedule, and quality control.
Preservation of heritage elements: facade, talavera tiles, ironwork, moldings, and original woodwork.
Implementation of procurement, logistics, and on-site administration strategies.

The Hampton Inn Historic District has established itself as a leader in heritage hospitality, blending history with modernity.
Thanks to Bovis’s management, this project not only restored an iconic building but also revitalized a key area of the Historic District, setting a new standard for quality in hotel restoration.
